An assembled collection of photographs of drawings of antiquities, conceptually related to the Getty-sponsored database, The Census of Antique Art and Architecture Known to the Renaissance. The drawings depicted are chiefly Italian, dating to the 16th-18th centuries, and many are from manuscripts in Italian collections. These photographs were assembled from numerous sources, including the repositories that hold the original manuscripts. A very few images (ca. 15) are photocopies.

The Scrinium of the Roman Church existed from the 4th century, functioning as both library and archives. In the 6th century it was under the Primicerius Notariorum (see ID VATV032-A).
